Due to the finals being in Sacramento next year. Who has already decided to forgo the Teams and join ADRA or any other local Association and run for points? How about a resorection of the Arizona Super classes? Roy Craycroft's Super Duper series? Speedworld's "Big Buck" gambler?

Not me. I'm planning on Sacramento if I can work out the logistics. I'm hoping to find someplace semi-secure to leave the car overnight around the half-way point in each direction. With an open trailer, I don't want to leave it in a hotel parking lot over night. I've been a crime victim too many times already!

I may try ADRA at a race or two, especially if there are some day races that fit into schedule gaps.

Blake and I are thinking about it.
I have never raced at Sacremento, I know it has a long history much like Bakersfield. It would be great to race there and meet the local racers.
Blake likes to travel so if he wants to do the driving............:D

New race car? I've got a project car in the works also, but it'll just be a street cruiser. A '66 Chevelle.

S/ST Divisionals for me next year. Its not the tow that bothers me to much its just not worth going unless your in the ROC. Otherwise your just racing a glorified bracket race.

It will when I am done with it lol. Ah those 3.73 gears hold that car back big. 1.75 60 foot times and the car runs 11.3 to 11.4 and 121 mph so I think with the gear change and back halve we will be alright. Maybe lol.

I plan to go if I'm in the ROC. When I lived in the Bay Area in the 60's and 70's Fremont was my home track but I also raced at Sears Point(Now Infineon) and also at Sacramento. It will be fun to go back there after all these years.

That pretty much sums up all drag racing that is not heads up.

Good seeing Steve, Matt, Ray, Dave, Jack and Hunter out making noise today. Spencer, you deserve the hard luck award for that broken crank in the Maverick!

I was just the opposite. Maybe next time I'll drink something caffeinated before eliminations so I'll be a little more alert when the lights come down!

HEY GUYS, SURE WISH YOU COULD MAKE MORE OF A SHOWING AT SIR. ONE RACE AT SIR IS NOT GOING TO GET THE TUCSON RACERS IN THE PROGRAM. THIS IS MORE LIKE "SPEEDWORLD DRAG RACING ASSOCIATION " WHICH IS FINE. THAT IS THE TRACK WHERE MOST ALL OF YOU RACE OUT OF. BUT IF YOU WANT TO GROW YOU MUST TRY TO GIVE A LITTLE, SPREAD THEM OUT . MAKE EVERYONE WELCOME, NOT THAT YOU DO NOT. SIR RACERS IM SURE WOULD EMBRACE THE SERIES IF IT CAME TO THEM LIKE IT COMES TO SPEEDWORLD . JUST FOOD FOR THOUGHT.

ADRA welcomes all racers, no matter which track or how fast the car is. When the ADRA comes to SIR this year, please support the program and I am sure the ADRA will bring more races to SIR. I love SIR's personell and the track always has the "teeth" to support the fastest car on the property!

Untill the economy gets better we will not have more races at SIR.The people are great there but the majority of the racers are from Phoenix,Chandler, Mesa and from up north,Kingman, Flagstaff etc.We try to acomidate the majority and would hate to see someone running the full points series lose out by having more events further away and not being able to afford the traveling. We love coming to SIR and in the future would like to have more events there. This year we are having 2 events at Firebird and 1 in Tucson.Sorry it could not be more at this time but we will work on it for the future.

It does seem like a team speedworld part 2. Or is it 1 (more show up for adra then a team race, must be the way it is run)

Any ideas on why that would be the case??
Not trying to start anything, just wondering.
It has been a couple of years since I ran at speedworld, any changes I should be aware of, if I come out and race the next ADRA race??
