| It seems odd to me that this section is totally filled with threads about Havasu. Sounds like a great track, and I'd love to take in a race there one of these days... but what about TRP? It still seems to be operating, though I know car counts are way down and they were shut down for a time.
So I'm thinking about going down to see the Jan 9th late model race. It sounds like they're trying to draw cars from a wide area. That's pretty much essential, from what I hear, if they're gonna have much of a race. Seems like they're lucky to get a dozen locals on the track at once these days.
So does anyone have any idea how many cars are likely to show? It's a two hour drive each way for me, I'd hate to do it for just a glorified heat race. But if they get a decent turn-out I'd hate to miss it.
