| Thanks for the info. Both of these websites I did check on Sat daytime to figure out what was what. The one sight showed only August events and the other only shows team races. I didnt want to participate in a event but to just make some passes down the track with a fresh motor. The car isnt exactly street legal only because of slicks but i was going to drive it to Firebird as it would be a 25 minute ride from my shop and didnt want to make the hour ride to Speedworld as I was all ready pushing my luck. Im going to go with the assumption that if there is nothing written on a particular day or date or calender then it means gates not open. Firebird please change your recorded message on the phone that currently states open on July 10th and to let people know when your next opening day is. Im not bitching just offering some constructive critisism to inform any of us non regulars what is going on in the future and not what is going on in the past. I will shoot for this Friday the 6th as I did find that on the website last month. |

Location: Gilbert AZ | I believe there will be Friday night drags in September but they are only publishing dates one month at a time. When checking for the test and tune make sure you check the main Firebird site as the team site will only have the Fridays listed when we are going to run the gambler and street trophy class. There may be Friday nights that the track will be open but we will not be doing the gambler. In this scenario the date should be published on the main FB site but it will not be listed on the team site. |
